Parts of Gait 

In sessions four through seven we work with the parts of gait. Here are some reminders to help you remember what you learned in your session.
Session 4
  1. Stand on one foot.
  2. Notice how your weight shifts laterally.
  3. Your hip joint will come into alignment directly above your ankle.
  4. Notice if your hip joint is more medial than you thought it was.
  5. Feel the transmission of weight through your hip joint. 

Session 5
  1. Practice lengthening your psoas with each step.
